中国当代艺术的创新推广机构——798正当代艺术会，于2006年12月2日在北京798艺术区正式开幕，作为北京798艺术区的形象窗口与交流平台，798正当代艺术会将通过全方位跨界运作，推动中国当代艺术与时尚、设计、文化等领域的互动，并广泛聚集各领域新锐人士，不间断向大众提供新兴艺术参与方式与生活理想。

空间由三个人是爱艺术的生活家创办，想找更多同僚和爱生活的艺术家一起“以生活的名义，向艺术靠近”。空间名字取的开宗明义——正当代艺术会。所以一切与当代艺术相关的：油画、版画、现代水墨、摄影图片、雕塑、陶瓷、装置、影音多媒体，以及设计展览都能在此找到。然而，若仅如此，就显得与众画廊无甚区别了，他们更想找到的是全民参与，大家互动的感觉，所以，此地同时也是摄影实验室、现场表演艺术、声音实验室。为了让年轻一辈有立体的展示空间，这里也是艺术授权产品、创意产品甚至设计师服装的集散地。

呈现艺术的可能性，加强艺术的参与性，是798正当代艺术会着力追求的目标，正因为此，空间从艺术品的挑选到市场运作等方面均改变传统画廊的运作方式，通过艺术沙龙、艺术PARTY等活动形式，让众多希望参与当代艺术的人都能够自然的将艺术融入生活；并可提供“太美好”（Take-me-home）艺术参与展、艺术品托管/交流、艺术品代购/定制、艺术品投资/收藏咨询等服务，并可为各类型机构艺术基金/奖项提供运作咨询服务。

About 798 Live Contemporary Art

Live Contemporary Art (LA) is a newly formed fine art specialist (service) company based in Beijing. It is also a contemporary art department of the China International Cultural Spread Center, which was authorized by State Department. It was established in 1984, and it has been one of the nation’s most important cultural exchange windows to the outside world.

LA provides independent guidance and expert information for corporation, collectors, public charitable organizations and private foundations who wish to move through the intricate world of auction houses, art dealers, galleries, artists and museums. We will assist with the necessities and implications of tax, insurance, moving and storage.

Unlike auction houses, art dealers, galleries, artists and museums, LA does not maintain an inventory of art and thus has no fixed interest in a particular work of art or artist. Our only purpose is to find and help corporate clients and collectors evaluate the work of art that is most appropriate to acquire, sell or donate.

We aim to provide comprehensive, expert advice on the acquisition or commissioning of artwork, primarily for corporate clients, public charitable organisations and for select private collectors. LA specialises in Chinese and Asian modern and contemporary art. Individualised art programs are developed around four basic tenets: design, taste, image, and budget.

LA serves to provide a convenient and tailored service to assist corporate clients and collectors navigate the growing and dynamic, but typically fragmented, art scene in China. LA’s goal is to develop and advance aesthetically appropriate art programs that endure and retain value. LA is the largest single source of works of art for sale in Beijing, with over 2000 items of contemporary art and photographs in its catalogue. The collection features works from China’s most famous artists and galleries to the newest, up and coming names in the Chinese art scene. LA also provides a unique commissioning service to its corporate and private customers.

According to the client’s specific requirements and tastes, LA can organize leading or newly developing artists to produce Centre Pieces for display in a company’s reception, board room, or Chief Executive / Chairman’s offices. Such pieces are developed in close consultation with the client to reflect the company’s corporate image, culture, branding or corporate objectives in China.
